This blog post is meant to inform you on the CBD brand I use (PETAL CBD) and it’s benefits in protecting our health. This is not meant to prescribe, diagnose or cure.. just to share the healing benifits of a natural plant medicine I have been using daily for over 3 years now!
Social distancing makes us realize: we are our own best form of protection.
I was someone who got sick at least 1-2x a month in the past. But after diving into plant based and starting up my "modern medicine cabinet" I haven't had any serious bouts with any of my old enemies: colds and flus! I was the queen of sinus infections that lasted weeks due to my absolute terrible health habits (or lack there of!)
While I am not saying I am immune to any illness, I can confidently say that I owe my good health and immunity to the daily, consistent habits I carry!

Staying ahead of the game by taking care of yourself day to day and educating yourself on the newest and most long term health balancers is crucial in keeping not just yourself but your family/loved ones safe.
Making the choices for yourself on which habits, foods, supplements you are intaking can seem overwhelming at first.. but taking slow, consistent steps is how I began! It manifests into your own modern medicine cabinet on its own when you educate yourself first and use your own intuition over everything else.
The best way to fight any virus is by simply keeping your immune system strong. This means creating a daily routine for yourself that not only helps aid in the physical aspects of your immune system but keeps your mental health in tune.
Not only does CBD aid in mental health but the inflammation factors are astronomical. Taking most common medical drugs causes an increase in inflammation and a weakened immune system as it is hard for the body to identify and process these harsh drugs. They mask most symptoms vs healing and building up something we naturally have inside of us!
CBD creates a homeostasis effect in the body: “a stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes.” .. aka the body’s safe, fluid state - where everything is functioning with ease.
Cannabinoid receptors identify the CBD the moment it enters the blood stream and once recognized our own receptors are activated: Relaxing the mind, regulating the nervous system, aligning hormones and in turn allowing the body to build up that immune system!
In conclusion: a pure CBD paired with a healthy, plant rich diet + other intuitive healthy lifestyle habits (hydration, sleep, rest, movement, mental health work etc) can be one of the biggest immune system builders and life changing supplements out there.
Products I use from Petal CBD
+ how I use them:
1 full dropper under tongue EVERY morning.. I also add some to my dandy blend. I use this in higher amounts during times of pain, heightened anxiety/stress or if I feel a cold/sinus pressure coming on! I have suffered from sinus issues my entire life as well as migraines and this will kick them to the curb! Making sure to USE DAILY and be consistent is crucial.
500mg sleep tincture (vanilla)
This I use in very very small amounts.. use 1/4 a dropper to start and see how you feel. I use this only when needed (for me that is usually no more than 1x a week but I know each person has their own struggles with sleep!) ..
250mg ReNew Serum
This saved my skin. If you want to check out my highlight on my instagram stories labeled “adult acne” it will give you more insight into my struggle with deep, cystic pimples/break outs. This aids in killing off bacteria without drying you out. It also reduces redness and inflammation and leaves my skin feeling supple and buttery soft!

Give them a try .. make sure to use consistently for several weeks (or better months) alongside daily healthy habits :P
