Whole Foods // Banana Bread
2 tbsp flax
1/3 cup plant milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp nut butter of choice
1 tsp vanilla
3-4 mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup sweetener (I use maple syrup or cane sugar!)
2 tsp baking soda
1.5 cups flour (I usually do 1/2 cup oat + 1 cup spelt or whole wheat! - feel free to mix / match with your favorite flours!)
Add ins: cinnamon, apple, blueberry, chocolate chip, raisins etc! Any flavors you love!
Pre-heat oven to 350F and line your bread pan with parchment paper or lightly oil.
Combine vinegar and milk in a bowl and let sit for 1-2 min.
Add in the rest of the liquid ingredients and combine.
In another bigger bowl sift together or mix together dry ingredients and pour wet ingredients in!
Transfer to the pan and bake for about 40-45 minutes.
Cool for about 20 min before popping out and slicing up!
Store in an air tight container for 1-2 days at room temp, up to a week in the fridge and up to 2 months in the freezer!
